Eid Mubarak! May the blessings of Allah fill your life with happiness, peace, and prosperity on this special occasion of Eid. May this Eid bring you and your loved ones closer together and may your hearts be filled with love and joy. May all your prayers and wishes be granted! Wishing you a blessed and joyous Eid!
What is Eid-ul-Fitr?
Eid-ul-Fitr is a day of joyous celebrations for the Muslims all over the world. Eid ul Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Muslims observe fasting during this month and then they are rewarded with Eid.
Fasting is followed by a feast of Eid. It is a time of festivities and family get-togethers. The day begins with offering a special prayer to reflect on the spiritual transformation that has taken place during the month of fasting. The faithful express their gratitude to Allah for His bountiful blessings in the Holy month.

Eid celebrations are characterized by various rites and rituals ranging from purely spiritual to plainly mundane. These include a special Eid prayer, donning new dresses, exchange of sweets, cakes, and gifts, and throwing lavish parties for families and friends. Kids and children receive money on this occasion. This is called Eidi in the Urdu language.
The occasion of Eid particularly underscores the spirit of sharing and togetherness. The people share their food, clothing, and gifts with others, especially with the poor relatives, friends and neighbors. Similarly, there are parties and get-togethers to celebrate Eid with family and friends.

Eid Mubarak to you.
Nothing is sadder than missing these gatherings. Anyway, you can virtually participate in such family gatherings via video calls. Technology can help us to some extent.
